I have had acne since I was young. I just got off Accutane last year, and guess what?! It's back! I have been using different products to help eliminate the red scares on my cheeks too, and it's not working. I eat healthy and plenty of walnuts, pumpkin seed nuts, and mangos (all said to help fight acne from the inside). Nothing seems to be working. I don't want to have to keep going to the dermatologist, but this is getting crazy.
That is my rant of the week.

  1. so when you meet me halfway to have our little chat over coffee- you can bring that shirt down with you too so I can borrow it :)

Sorry about the acne :( sounds frustrating not to have things working. Maybe it's the change of the weather?

  2. Well you look fabulous here. I am in a constant battle with my skin but would never dare to try accutane because the side effects terrify me!

  3. Acne is a pain in the butt, isn't it? There are just so many things that factor in, it makes it almost impossible to win that fight. Well, you look stunning no matter what and just know that you're not alone.

  4. have you ever tried proactive? i never really had too much acne growing up, but i experienced some adult acne recently. proactive worked for me. of course, with anything it takes time...i started to see results after a month of consistent use. my 19 year old nephew had typical teen acne and it works for him.
