channeling suburbia

With me doing so much homework and studying all the time, I have not had a minute to plan outfits. I have been just grabbing whatever I see and hope it somewhat matches. This is one of those outfits.

I love this Rachael Roy vest! I bought it a several years ago when I lived in NYC at Macy's on 34th. I usually tried to avoid that mad house, but every once in a while my sister and I would go have a drink in the basement and then head up to the shopping floors. Within an hour or so we were lost, tired, and beyond ready to go. In the few instances where one of us bought something, it was worth the crowds.

I was trying to show case the zipper on the long lapels of the vest, but I'm show casing more of my armpit than anything else huh? Sorry about that, lol.

Yes, my Tom's again. I admit, I have a slight addiction at the moment. They are not even really my style, but man they are comfortable.

This jacket zips two ways!

I have on so many zippers today.

I tossed this outfit on to make a coffee run. It’s 1 km (0.6 miles –a little over a mile to and from) to my favorite coffee place and needed it today. I was feeling so lazy. I ended up keeping this outfit on to run errands as well.

I think I heard some guy tell the woman he was with that I looked chic. It was German, so I hope that’s what he said! It was just after my first sip of coffee though and I feel like Superwoman at with the first five sips.

p.s. My jacket—it's the same one in this post— is not leather. I got a few comments saying my leather jacket was great, but it's fabric. My leather jacket is in the states awaiting my return.

I haven’t had a reason or the desire to really get ready lately. I just wake up and chill, or throw on what ever is clean and call it day. Today was no different. I didn’t even put on mascara or blush yet and it’s lunchtime. I don't see myself getting around to either. I don't even have on any accessories. I am so lame lately. I'll try to spruce myself up soon, I promise! 

I have to tell you, I adore this sweater. I think it looks funny when I take photos, but I love it nonetheless. It gives a basic sweater a little something something. And yes, those are Tom’s on my feet. I do so much walking when in Germany and they have yet to give me a blister (even the first time I wore them!) Speaking of walking I'm out the door to meet a friend via my bike. Walking or biking is the way to go!
