it was raining men!

Hallelujah, it was raining men! Amen! Okay it was more like cats and dogs but I saw the opportunity to turn my life/blog into a musical and couldn’t help myself. Back to blogging, I had a very different outfit planned for the Every Body Every Wear Maxi day but it involved open toe wedges and the way the rain was coming down, boots were the only shoes in my forecast. 

My maxi dress is actually a maxi dress it's just tucked into my bra (sorry if that was t.m.i. I was just trying to help give you more ideas.) I find that with maxi dresses they are either too short or so long that I have to wear heels. Maybe I should pick up sewing. Ha ha. Okay that will not ever happen. I am AWEFUL at executing creativeness. I just learned how to sew a button on from bf and he still insists that he should do the small repairing of clothes like buttons and the rest he takes to the tailor. It not that I don’t try because I do, it’s just I guess, not my thing. 

 I’ve got a slue of homework so cheers my dears!

    I love this outfit - all the elements mix so well together! I saw the Beatles LOVE when I was in Vegas two years ago and it was AMAZING!

    That's the 2nd striped maxi dress I see today on (ebew) and I think you totally rocked it! I'm a tall girl, so I could easily wear maxis, but I really don't know how to style them.. :(

    well, I was on the fence about finding a new maxi style this spring- stripes or colours. you seem to have found the 2 in 1!

    And I laughed at your reveal about the dress/skirt- the things that go on beneath our outfits no one ever knows about (like realizing the best way for a tucked-in shirt not to show through a pencil skirt is to tuck it into tights. seems terrible, but leads to a nice sleek look!)
