I am grilling at my place this evening for my bf and his ‘rents so this post will be short so I can prep and clean.
First I want to give a big hug and thank you to everyone who commented on yesterdays post with great tips and ideas. I am feeling much better today and it’s all because my readers (that’s you silly) are amazing.
This is my Lost Bird Found tote (see also the blog here) that I have been using as a backpack. It’s really cute and I always get tons of complements on it. It’s heavy duty I’m telling you, it so dang cute and it’s my fav. shopping bag. I am happy that I can use it as a shopping tote again since I bought an actual backpack.
I found out two things with outfit. Actually three now that think about it.
1) These shoes DO NOT go with this skirt/dress. I was in a hurry to get to the farmers market and to pick up our pictures that we took to get framed a couple of weeks ago before it all closed. I just tossed them on and ran out the door. Which leads me to the 2nd thing I learned (well it was my third though but it fits in with thought # 1.)
2) You should always look in a mirror or take a photo of what you are wearing before you leave the house. If you don’t you could look like a fool like I did today.
3) I cannot color block. Period.
I sort of have a thing with jumping off of things. It came on the few years ago and really I can’t help myself. I’m not even sure where it came from but…
